A medium size mug glazed in Sandstone, featuring an Ankh carving in black clay slip circle.
The ankh is an ancient Egyptian hieroglyph that symbolizes life, imortality and the afterlife. It is also known as the “key of life” and represents the breath of life, with some interpretations also linking it to elements like water, air, and the sun. The ankh was frequently depicted being held by gods and pharaohs, symbolizing their life-giving power, and was also worn as a protective amulet.
