This is a beginners henna workshop for learning and sharing the heArt of Henna.
No experience necessary- just a passion to learn about henna ❤ Ages 11 and above.
‘What is Henna?’ Henna tattoo is a temporary tattoo that lasts between 1-2 weeks. It is made from all natural Organic ingredients that leaves a stain on the skin – the design that you draw.
The workshop will cover everything you need to know to start doing henna on yourself and friends. A lovely workshop to share with friends.
We will cover
* What Henna is and where it comes from
* History of Henna
* Organic hand mixed henna vs Commercial henna…. why henna has a bad name.
* How to mix your own henna
* How to make the henna applicator cone
* Henna designs basics
*Henna application techniques and care of your henna.
Bring notebook and pen. Afternoon Tea provided.
This will be a fun and creative day.

A henna artist for nearly 24 years, Jillian is one of the leading henna artists in North Queensland, she has run a business called ‘Henna Temple’ for 8 years. She will openly share the information that she has learned over many years of practicing henna as her art form. She has studied with Henna artists from all over the world and applies that knowledge into her art and teachings. Jillian has a Diploma or Art and a fine attention to detail with skill to boot.
