Tallow Balm ~ Ingredients

• Grass Fed and Finished Tallow
• Organic Olive Oil
• Doterra Lavender Essential oil

This is a smooth and creamy butter with healing qualities. Especially good for very dry or inflamed skin or skin with many stories to tell. The tallow is soothing and moisturising. Lavender is gentle on the skin and promotes healing. This product is a balm can be used on Face and other body parts.

Use a small amount and rub between hands to heat slightly. Gently massage into your skin. I like to use it after a shower, and always before I go to bed, but also in the morning. I find that the tallow balm seems heavy at first but very quickly absorbs into the skin leaving my skin feeling beautifully moisturised.

My Tallow products are made from Grass Fed and Finished Tallow (this means the cows lived in a paddock and ate grass and they were fattened also in a grass paddock. They were not fed grains). 

Qualities of Tallow

• Is deeply nourishing and moisturising
• Contains Vitamins A,D,K,E, & B12, all of which are extremely beneficial for skin.
• Also helps to prevent the skin’s loss of moisture
• Contains conjugated Linoleic Acid (CLA) with natural anti-inflammatory properties.
• All of these nutrients are found together only in animal products.
• Contains oleic acid (omega 9) aids other components in penetrating deeply into the skin
• Contains palmitoliec acid (omega 7) which is one of the skin’s basic building blocks
• Contains palmitic acid which helps improve the protective barrier function of the skin
• Is antibacterial & antimicrobial
• Is rich in minerals
• Contains stearic acid which helps to repair damaged skin, and improves skin’s flexibility and suppleness
• Aids in skin regeneration for skin that appears healthier and more youthful
