Tallow Sunscreen ~ Ingredients

• Grass Fed and Finished Tallow
• Organic Coconut Oil
• Organic Olive Oil
• Organic Beeswax
• Non Nano Zinc Oxide

This is a smooth and creamy sunscreen with moisturising and healing qualities. Especially good for anyone wanting protection from harsh sun conditions, without any nasty chemicals. The tallow is soothing and has sun protection qualities of approx 30SPF. Like all natural Sunscreens you will need to reapply when you swim or sweat to continue sun protection. The Zinc Oxide makes this sunscreen a white colour, but when rubbed in well it is hardly noticeable. For heavier coverage use a thicker layer of the product. This is a wonderful product to use on babies, children as well as adults.

Use a small amount on forearm on first application to check for any allergies (this would be rare due to the natural ingredients used in this sunscreen).

Use a small amount and rub gently into your skin that needs sun protection.

My Tallow products are made from Grass Fed and Finished Tallow (this means the cows lived in a paddock and ate grass and they were fattened also in a grass paddock. They were not fed grains). 

Qualities of Tallow

• Contains conjugated Linoleic Acid (CLA) with natural anti-inflammatory properties.

• Contains oleic acid (omega 9) aids other components in penetrating deeply into the skin
• Contains palmitoliec acid (omega 7) which is one of the skin’s basic building blocks
• Contains palmitic acid which helps improve the protective barrier function of the skin
• Is antibacterial & antimicrobial
• Is rich in minerals
• Contains stearic acid which helps to repair damaged skin, and improves skin’s flexibility and suppleness
• Aids in skin regeneration for skin that appears healthier and more youthful
