Frame Drum, Spirit Drum, Medicine Drum, Shamanic Drum….. it comes by many names and from many cultures around the world… Originally Women were the first drummers.. the keepers of the connection to the heartbeat of our sacred Mother Earth.
Drumming is for everyone 
A Medicine drum is a simple, yet powerful way of connecting to the healing vibrations of the universe, our self and Earth’s energies. Your drum can be used for singing , sound healing, shamanic journeying, space clearing and your sacred work.

If you are inspired to make your own Drum this is a wonderful opportunity. Jillian Zamora will be your guide for this deep and creative journey. Jillian is a seasoned craftsperson and has held the space for 70+ drums to be birthed in the North Queensland region in the last 5 years.
There are limited spaces in this workshop to keep it personal and sacred.
This will be the first event held at the new space we call ‘The Little
Shambhala’ in EdgeHill Cairns. With an outdoor garden setting under a fabulous tent you will sit upon the earth (or chair if you wish) and weave your Medicine drum. The mission is to keep you dry and out of the elements while maintaining connection to nature and all she offers for your journey.

Your drum will be woven with intention that you set. This is a somatic experience and you will be guided to weave your drum as you tune into your body and listen, feel your and learn about yourself.
We will gather on Sat 10th Feb at 3pm to begin the process until approx.. 6pm.
We will then gather again the next morning on Sun 11th Feb at 9.30am to continue on with the process until approx 5 pm, you will then take home your amazing drum.

The workshop will cost $525. Payment plans available please contact me personally.
Places are limited so that you have my full support as you weave your drum.
CANCELLATION POLICY
~ if you cancel 4 weeks or more before the event you will receive a full refund.
~ if you cancel 1-4 weeks before the event you will receive a refund minus your deposit of $200.
~if you cancel 0-1 week before the event you will receive no refund however your ticket will be transferable to another person. The name of the person must be communicated to Jillian so that there is no confusion.

Recently I attended Jillian’s drum making workshop. I didn’t really know what to expect, i had never made a drum before, what a journey took place for me though. Jillian greeted us with such warmth and held nurturing space, I fell into a deep connection with the process of birthing my drum, which in turn, has left me forever grateful that I now have such a healing and personal medicine in my beautiful drum.
